ASSOCIATE EDITOR/REPORTER: Bold leader for small Iowa newsroom Carpenter Media Group is looking for an associate editor/reporter to lead our Harrison County Times-Reporter’s newsroom located in southwest Iowa. The right person will be able to solve problems, generate ideas and tell stories that engage our print, digital, newsletter and social audiences. The candidate we’re looking for will both lead and learn from a seasoned sports and community reporter who has been with the paper for more than three decades. This person will also be able to cultivate and use freelancers when needed to hit all deadlines. The associate editor/reporter will interact with a talented sales team and off-site designers to deliver quality news products that grow our audiences. Our office is located in Missouri Valley, which borders the Loess Hills National Scenic Byway. Missouri Valley is also only 30 minutes away from Omaha, Neb., which offers all the amenities of big city living.
