EDITOR: We’re looking for an energetic and talented journalist to lead our Harrison County Times-Reporter’s newsroom located in southwest Iowa. The right person will be involved in the community, be able to generate ideas and tell stories that engage our print, digital, newsletter and social media audiences. This person will part of a fun, experienced staff that knows how to produce quality editions in timely fashion. They will be able to contribute photography to their articles, work with freelancers when needed, while being able to hit all deadlines. They will also interact with a talented sales team and off-site designers to deliver multiple news products that grow our audiences. The office is located in the western Iowa community of Missouri Valley, which borders the Loess Hills National Scenic Byway. Missouri Valley is only 40 minutes from Omaha, Neb., which offers all the amenities of big city living.
