Aaron Burns - Inside Account Executive

Aaron Burns joined the Iowa Newspaper Association/Customized Newspaper Advertising on April 12 as an inside account executive. In his new role, Burns sells classified advertising space by phone into CNA’s Iowa Newspaper Classified Network and 2x2 Small Space Display Network. He represents networks nationwide, prospects for new network advertisers and services existing customers. He has previous experience in sales, working as an account representative for Charles City Press. Burns has attended the annual INA Convention and Trade show as a student and has presented as a young professional panelist during the 2017 convention. He is also a graduate of the 2016 Leo Mores Newspaper Leadership Institute.

Burns is new to Des Moines and has settled in downtown with his dog, Ivy.

Kimberley Francisque - Membership & Program Coordinator 

Kimberley Francisque  joined the Iowa Newspaper Association/Foundation on March 8 as membership and program coordinator. In her new role, Francisque assists in updating the membership database as well as coordinating INF programs. Most recently, she served as program director for the Eastside Community Development Corporation. In this role, she was responsible for community youth program development and execution and promotion of the organization programming, also known as the Change Center. Prior to her work with ECDC, she was program manager for Students out to Change at Harbor of Hope, a mentorship program in Benton Harbor, Michigan where she oversaw programming, including curriculum development, implementation, volunteer and youth recruitment, and retention.

She lives in Ames with her husband Estepha, and 10 month old daughter Kaiyah. She enjoys photography and traveling, and looks forward to moving to Des Moines this summer.

Kari Ludvigson - Media Buyer

Kari Ludvigson joined the Iowa Newspaper Association/Customized Newspaper Advertising on April 24 as a Media Buyer. In her new role, Ludvigson assists the Media Director and the advertising sales staff in their function of selling and administering newspaper advertising. Her primary responsibility is to help in the processing of all advertising orders. She graduated from Iowa State with a degree in Marketing. 

Kari lives in downtown Des Moines. In her free time she enjoys helping with her family’s cattle business, attending Iowa State games, and traveling to her family’s ranch in Montana.

Judy Mowery - Office Administrator

Judy Mowery joined the Iowa Newspaper Association on January 23  as office administrator. In her current role, Mowery oversees short and long-term projects, manages printing and incoming and out-going correspondence, maintains equipment and supplies, manages INA Press Release Service and directory sales and distribution, and assists with employee benefit administration. She has 8 years of previous experience working as an assistant to the facility manager for the Des Moines Register.

Mowery lives in Des Moines with her husband, Chuck, and their two spoiled Jack Russell Terriers, Bonnie and Oscar. She and her husband enjoy biking the trails in and around Des Moines and spending time with their 4 grandsons, AJ, Dylan, Gunner and Drew. 

Hannah O'Donnell - Ad Sales & Marketing Assistant

Hannah O’Donnell joined the Iowa Newspaper Association on May 3 as and advertising sales and marketing assistant. She assists the Customized Newspaper Advertising networks team in designing and placing ads. Her previous role was in sales and administration for a food distributor in Chicago.

Hannah is new to Iowa and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. Before moving to Des Moines, she spent 3 and a half months backpacking through Southeast Asia.
