INA counts nearly 300 daily and weekly newspapers as its active members.
Qualifications of Active (Newspaper) Members
To qualify for election as an Active Member, a person:
a. Shall be an individual, partnership, corporation or association or other entity which publishes a newspaper:
1. With a paid circulation of at least fifty percent of the total circulation
2. With a publication frequency of at least fifty times per year,
3. With a second class mailing permit from the United States Postal Service, and
4. Which shall have completed one year of publication with a second class mailing permit.
b. Shall have filed an application for membership with the Executive Director of the Association, agreeing to pay all dues assessed pursuant to these Bylaws.
Dues for active membership are based on a newspaper’s circulation and are determined upon a newspaper’s application or acceptance.
