Professional background:
In 2001 Scott began his career in Provo, Utah selling newspaper advertising for the Daily Herald. His first publisher job was in 2010 with family-owned news organization Pioneer News Group, overseeing the Teton Valley News in Driggs, Idaho. While there, Scott was given additional responsibilities when he was promoted to also oversee the Rexburg Standard Journal in Rexburg, Idaho. Scott's Iowa journey began November 2015 when he became Sr. Group publisher of the Ames Tribune, Story City Herald, Tri-County Times, Nevada, Journal, Boone News Republican, Perry Chief, Dallas County News and the Story County Sun. Scott is a firm believer in the importance of a free press, especially in this day in age. He feels a major role of any newspaper publisher is to better their communities while putting out a top notch product. He can often be heard saying "We owe it to our community to give this job our all, each and every day". Scott and Lindsey are thankful to be able to raise their five children in beautiful Iowa.

Family:
Anderson and wife, Lindsey, have five children: Avery, Crew, Cade, Afton and Skye.

Off-the-job interests:
In his down time Scott can be found backpacking, canyoneering, or back country skiing. His favorite place to be is with his family around a campfire in the outdoors.

Education- Scott is interested in using his skills in any area INA feels he can help the most.
