Daily Facts; city editor at Ontario (Calif.) Daily Report, which became the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin; editor at Fontana (Calif.) Herald-News; zone editor at The Press-Enterprise in Riverside, Calif.; operations editor at The Lincoln (Neb.) Star; assistant editor at the Lincoln (Neb.) Journal-Star; corporate positions at the Omaha World-Herald Company, including IT systems manager, chief information security officer, World-Herald News Service manager, intellectual property manager and deputy regional editor; purchased Journal-Eureka in 2012 and The Kalona News in 2016.

Married to Bridget for 35 years. Three grown children, Jenna and Jacqui who live in Washington, D.C., and James who lives in Omaha.

Who has time for off-the-job interests? Likes reading, binge watching Netflix and genealogy (his great-great-grandfather lived in Anamosa in the 1850s and 1860s.)
